Jun 11, 2008 (newstodate): Romania's Cluj-Napoca International Airport will complete its extensive modernisation project by the end of this year.
The airport, the country's fourth-largest by passenger volumes, has recently opened its new 4,000 sq m passenger arrival terminal, bringing its annual capacity to two mio passengers.
In December, the airport will complete work on a new 8,000 sq m departure terminal, capable of handling 800,000 passengers, or twice the volume of passengers generated in 2007.
