Jun 10, 2008 (newstodate): Fledgling new Thai airline Kair, formerly Krabi Airlines, has again revised its plans for launching flights to Scandinavia and Germany.
New date for virgin flights from Krabi to Oslo, Norway, and Munich, Germany, is now November 1, 2008.
The airline cites prolonged problems with obtaining the official Air Operator Certificate from the Thai Department of Civil Aviation in time.
Kair first announced November 1, 2007, as the launch date, later postponing the virgin flights to January 19, 2008, before setting April 5, and finally August 30, 2008, as the target date.
Kair will operate two Boeing 747-300 aircraft in its first year of operations, planning to increase to five within five years, and up to 10 by 2013.
