Jun 11, 2008 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana has signed a firm contract for the purchase of six A320 aircraft, as part of its expansion programme on domestic and medium-haul routes.
Air Astana already operates eight A320 Family aircraft, in addition to four Boeing 757-200, two Boeing 767-300 and five Fokker F-50 aircraft.
The new contract, which is the airlines first with Airbus, confirms the MoU announced in December 2007.
