Jun 11, 2008 (newstodate): As the only Scandinavian market, Denmark continued to grow its IATA export air freight volumes during this year's Q1.
During the period, Denmark generated a total of 18,636 tonnes of IATA export cargo, up 8.1 percent, y-o-y.
By contrast, the Swedish IATA export airfreight market shrank 4.5 percent, to 28,396 tonnes, while Norway was down 1.4 percent, to 19,663 tonnes.
In 2007, Norway led the Scandinavian markets with a growth at 27.4 percent, to 84,206 tonnes, followed by Denmark, up 15.8 percent to 77,589 tonnes, and Sweden that grew only 2.8 percent, to 122,263 tonnes.
