Jun 24, 2008 (newstodate): Seven Central European air navigation service providers have agreed to work towards forming a functional airspace block.
The countries behind the recent MoC are Austria, Bosnie and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungaria, Slovenia and Slovakia.
With the implementation of a functional airspace block, airspace does not follow national borders but is organised supranationally in accordance with the actual needs of the aviation community, as a step towards realising the Single European Sky.
