Jun 25, 2008 (newstodate): The Belarus national carrier Belavia has now added its fifth Boeing 737 aircraft to its fleet.
Following on the delivery of the fourth Boeing 737-500 on June 4, 2008, the carrier received a Boeing 737-300 on June 21, 2008, both aircraft on a lease agreement with IFLC.
The new Boeing 737 aircraft will allow Belavia to gradually phase out its fleet of four TU-154 aircraft that will be leased out or sold to Russian charter operators.
