Jun 4, 2008 (newstodate): On June 4, 2008, Italian LCC Belle Air, based at Tirana, Albania, has launched flights on a new route between Tirana and Prishtina, Kosova.
The carrier already offers services between Tirana and destinations in Italy, Egypt, Israel, and Jordan with a fleet comprising two BAe 146-300, one Fokker 100, and one MD-82, all leased in from other airlines.
In 2007, Belle Air was Tirana Interntional Airport's largest operator with 24 percent of the total passenger volumes.
