May 14, 2008 (newstodate): Plans for the projected new airlink by Kair, formerly known as Krabi Airlines, between Thailand and Norway as well as Germany are still vacillating.
According to fresh information, the carrier would open sales on flights to Krabi and Bangkok from Oslo, Norway, and Munich, Germany, from April 10, 2008, but this has been postponed.
First flight from Oslo was scheduled for August 30, 2008, and from Munich for September 2, 2008.
These plans have now been revised.
-We have faced series of difficulties, while many problems attacked our preparations. Due to a failure in getting the AOC in time, we have thus postponed all the booking engines and the first flights, says Kosol Vongsrisart, Kair marketing director.
Kair first announced November 1, 2007, as the launch date, later postponing the virgin flights to January 19, 2008, before setting April 5, and finally August 30, 2008, as the target date.
