May 6, 2008 (newstodate): Russian carrier Saravia, based at Saratov Tsentralny Airport, has launched new domestic flights.
From May 1, the airline has started operations on routes from Penza, in the Volga Federal District, to Moscow and St Petersburg.
Beginning with two weekly flights, frequency on the route to Moscow Domodedovo Airport will increase to two daily operations from May 12.
Also flights from Penza to Sochi will be added from this summer.
Saravia operates a fleet of YAK 40, YAK 42 and AN-24 aircraft.
