May 26, 2008 (newstodate): Czech airline CSA will acquire two new leased Airbus A319 aircraft, which will be used mainly on European routes.
The new aircraft will be delivered in 2009 and 2010, respectively.
In 2010, the carrier's medium-haul fleet will thus comprise 18 Airbus A320 Family and 17 Boeing 737 aircraft.
The first new A319 aircraft will replace one of the oldest Boeings in the fleet, which will be returned to its owner, while the second new aircraft will replace one of the Airbus A320 aircraft, which will be incorporated into the CSA charter fleet.
The carrier will also sell two of its four Airbus A310 long-haul aircraft, with the first to go in 2008 and the second to follow by mid-2009.
