May 2, 2008 (newstodate): In January 2008, Finland's IATA export cargo volumes fell four percent, y-o-y, to 3,204 tonnes.
DHL GLobal Forwardning (Finland) Oy came out the undisputed top IATA export cargo agent with 26.6 percent of the market, or 853 tonnes sold, which was, however, 26.5 percent down on January sales in 2007.
With 338 tonnes of IATA export cargo sold in January, 2008, OY Kuehne & Nagel Ltd came 2nd, increasing 7.9 percent, y-o-y, in volumes.
Third was OY O. Nystrom & Co AB with 320 tonnes, down 12.3 percent.
Schenker OY came 4th with 235 tonnes, down 29.5 percent, followed by Panalpina Finland with 194 tonnes, rising 31.9 percent.
#9 on the list, Geodis Wilson Finland topped the list as to growth against January 2007, increasing 99.2 percent to 109 tonnes.
