May 29, 2008 (newstodate): Russia's KD Avia has placed a commitment with Airbus for the purchase of 25 A319 aircraft, thus becoming a new Airbus customer.
-The A319 will contribute to the strengthening of Kaliningrads position as an important Russian transit hub and at the same time will enable us to further develop our route network, said Sergey Grishchenko, KD Avia chairman of the Board of Directors at a signing ceremony during the ILA2008 in Berlin.
Based at Kaliningrad Khrabrovo Airport. KD Avia now operates a fleet comprising 19 Boeing 737-300 aircraft
