May 5, 2008 (newstodate): Western and Russian airline CEOs, government officials, professional association experts, financiers and investors, market analysts and specialist media from the EU and Russia will meet in Moscow on May 27-28, 2008.
The 1st EU-Russia Airlines Dialogue aims to highlight obstacles in the way of EU-Russian airline business development, and to generate recommendations to help officials and market players to enhance co-operation.
The event is not organised by the EU, and the official EU-Russia Aviation Summit, originally slated for November 16-17, 2007, has still not been re-scheduled pending Russia's signature to the Siberia treaty on overflight dues.
