Apr 4, 2008 (newstodate): Ukraine's Vinnitsya Airport is expected to be ready for resumption of commercial traffic by this summer.
The regionally-owned airport in Central Ukraine has been under thorough modernisation during the recent period, including repair and reconstruction of the passenger terminal and other infrastructure.
Focus is now on attracting investors to realise the airport's long-term plan to develop its international traffic.
Two of the airports runways are dedicated to military use, while the third 2,500 m runway is reserved for commercial use.
