Apr 3, 2008 (newstodate): According to official statistics, Sweden's Malmo Sturup Airport is seeing its cargo volumes down in 2008.
So far only figures for January and February have been published, showing a total of 2,302 volumes in January 2008, down 30.2 percent y-o-y, and 2,267 tonnes in February 2008, down 29.1 percent.
Totals after the first two months of 2008 are thus 4,569 tonnes, down 30 percent, y-o-y.
In 2007 the airport handled a total of 60,102 tonnes of cargo, up 58 percent, y-o-y.
