Apr 3, 2008 (newstodate): Russia's Ministry for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense has opened an airbridge carrying humanitarian relief shipments for the Serb minority in Kosovo.
The first IL-76 flight arrived at Belgrade on April 2, 2008, carrying 40 tonnes of food, and a further three flights are slated for April 4, 8, and 10, respectively.
The flights land at Belgrade, Serbia, from where the shipments, totalling 140 tonnes of relief goods, are trucked into Kosovo.
