Apr 25, 2008 (newstodate): The Federal Agency of Air Transport of Russia and the EU have signed an agreement on withdrawal of the restrictions on flights to the European Union earlier placed on aircraft of a number of carriers.
The airlines include Krasnoyarsk Airlines, Ural Airlines, Gazpromavia, Atlant-Soyuz, UTAir, Kavminvodyavia, Kuban Airlines, Yakutia, and Airlines 400 that are now allowed to operate into the EU, but only with specific aircraft meeting ICAO standards.
The agreement also comprises Orenburg Airlines, Tatarstan, S7 Sibir, and Rossiya, where specific aircraft are exempted from the permission to operate into the EU.
