Apr 9, 2008 (newstodate): An Australian real estate and investment fund, Goodman Australia plans to build facilities for Chinese companies at Germany's Schwerin Parchim Airport.
On July 1, 2007, the airport was acquired by the Chinese logistics company LinkGlobal Logistics that plans to turn the airport into a hub for Chinese freighter traffic.
The purchase agreement between the Chinese and the Australian party will pave the road for construction of a significant industrial development at Schwering Parchim Airport that already has some Chinese freighter traffic from Urumqi, Xinjiang, and Zhengzou, driven by LinkGlobal Logistics.
