Apr 14, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Rossiya plans to start services between St Petersburg and Kyrgyzstan from April 28, 2008.
The new route will connect St Petersburg and Osh, Kyrgyzstan's second-largest city, providing the first direct airlink between the two cities.
The once-weekly flights will be performed with TU-154 aircaft, later to be replaced by Airbus A319 services.
