Apr 9, 2008 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier, member of the SAS Group airBaltic has now recieved its first Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
The aircraft will be joined in June by a second Boeing 757-200, and will be used on airBaltic services on longer flights from Riga to Almaty, Tashkent, London, Tel Aviv, Barcelona and other destinations.
airBaltic's fleet now consists of 24 aircraft, including ten Boeing 737500, 5 Boeing 737-300, one Boeing 757-200, and eight Fokker F50.
