Apr 2, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Rossiya has received its first Boeing 767-300ER aircraft.
The airline, merged in 2006 with former Pulkovo Airlines, has ordered a total of three Boeing 767 aircraft, aiming at phasing out its fleet of four IL-86 aircraft.
Rossiya will also acquire new TU-214 long-haul aircraft, medium-haul TU-134 and IL-96 aircraft for VIP transportation purposes.
