Apr 14, 2008 (newstodate): The Irish carrier Aer Lingus has now fully confirmed an order for the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft, boosting the total number of orders to 362 from 22 customers.
Aer Lingus has signed up for the acquisition of six A350-900, in addition to six A330-300 ordered last year.
The A350-900 aircraft will be deployed on the airline's growing long haul network to the United States and on other new long-range routes that are being considered for the future.
