Apr 10, 2008 (newstodate): As expected, Boeing has announced a further, third delay to its Boeing 787 program, entailing delayed first flight and delivery schemes.
Rather than lifting off on its virgin flights in June this year, the launch will instead be in Q1, 2009, and first deliveries will be in Q3, 2009, rather than in Q1 as originally planned.
Boeing cites problems in production and supplier chain deliveries as the main causes.
