Mar 27, 2008 (newstodate): Plans for the projected new airlink between Thailand and Norway as well as Germany are now maturing after several delays.
The fledgling new Thai Carrier Kair, formerly known as Krabi Airlines, confirms that bookings will start on the internet by April 10, 2008.
-We will definitely inaugurate from Oslo on August 30, 2008, and from Munich September 2, says Kosol Vongsrisart, Kair marketing director.
The carrier has contracted Kales Airline Services to provide GSA services in the Norwegian and German markets, while it is seeking a company to take all capacity ex-Thailand for onward sale to cargo customers in the Thai market.
Kair will operate two Boeing 747-300 aircraft in its first year of operations, planning to increase to five within five years, and up to 10 by 2013.
