If the Japanese group decides to finally launch the project based on firm airline commitments, the Mitsubishi Regional Jet will enter commercial service by 2013, with production starting from 2012.
The aircraft will offer 70-90 seats on regional flights, powered by Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan engines.
