Mar 13, 2008 (newstodate): In 2007 cargo volumes at Sweden's Stockholm Skavsta Airport remained almost unchanged at the level of the last three years - 15,000 tonnes.
Some 85 percent of the volume is trucked cargo, but the airport is also seeing a rather stable volume of cargo charter operations, with 27 Boeing 747 and AN-124 ad-hoc freighter flights in 2007.
-We are constantly in the market to attract scheduled freighter operations and hope to see a braek-through in 2008, says Dag Berlov, Stockholm Skavsta Airport cargo manager.
