Mar 26, 2008 (newstodate): Cargo volumes were sliding back at Serbia's Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport during the first two months of 2008.
In January the airport handled a total of 436 tonnes of cargo, down 10 percent, y-o-y, and in February the decline was seven percent, to 524 tonnes.
Mail volumes also dropped by twp percent in January to 78 tonnes, while mail volumes were up nine percent in February, to 72 tonnes.
In 2007 the airport handled a total of 7,926 tonnes of cargo, down three percent, and 879 tonnes of mail, down five percent, y-o-y.
