Mar 26, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Dalavia, based at Khabatovsk, is seeking its first western aircraft.
The airline is in the market for two Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, to be taken on a dry lease contract.
The carrier is, however, keen to find two aircraft younger than 15 years, to comply with Russia's current ban on imports of aircraft older than 15 years.
The same ban is thought to have hit Aeroflot Cargo's plans for lease of MD-11F freighters, of which one has already been delivered but has still not been put into operations due to the restriction.
