Nine airports in Poland handled air cargo, with Warsaw accounting for 73.4 percent, and the regional airports for the remaining 26.6 percent.
In 2007, Warsaw Airport handled a total of 63,333 tonnes of cargo, up 4.3 percent, y-o-y.
Air cargo grew by 23.21 percent on an average at regional airports, especially Katowice, up 27.3 percent to 7,782 tonnes, Gdansk, up 17.85 percent to 5,757 tonnes, Bydgoszcz, up 20.72 percent to 411 tonnes, and Szczecin, up 263.8 percent to 1,774 tonnes.
