Mar 26, 2008 (newstodate): Montenegro Airlines, based at Podgorica Airport, is preparing to receive its first Embraer 195 aircraft in May this year.
The carrier has ordered two Embraer aircraft, with the second slated for delivery in May, 2009.
The new aircraft will allow Montenegro Airlines to launch its new route to London Gatwick from June, 2008.
During the summer season the carrier will introduce daily operations to Frankfurt and Zurich, while frequencies on flights to Belgrade, Vienna, Rome and Paris will be increased, and the carrier will also re-introduce flights to Nis in Serbia.
