Mar 28, 2008 (newstodate): With the start of the new summer schedule, Croatia Airlines plans a major increase in routes and services.
New destinations from Zagreb, Croatia, are
Pristina in Bosnia/Herzegovina, and Podgorica in Montenegro, as well as to Copenhagen in Denmark, Dusseldorf in Germany, and from Pula in Croatia to London Gatwick, UK.
Also from the start of the S'08 schedule, frequencies will be upped on routes to a number of existing destinations.
The boost in traffic will be supported by the delivery of two Bombardier Dash-8 Q400 aircraft by May, 2008.
The carrier also operates two ATR-42, four Airbus A319 and four Airbus A320 aircraft.
A total of four Q400 aircraft has been ordered, with options for a further two aircraft, to replace the ATR-42 aircraft.
