Mar 12, 2008 (newstodate): In the first two months of 2008, Anapa Vityazevo Airport, member of Russia's "Airports of the South", saw its modest cargo volumes increasing.
The airport handled a total of 38.5 tonnes of cargo during January-February, up 6.3 percent, y-o-y.
February alone accounted for 22.6 tonnes, an increase by 12.2 percent.
Equipped with a 2,500 m runway, the airport by the Black Sea coast handles aircraft up to the size of Boeing 737 and saw its volume of flight operations rising 19.7 percent to 280 take-offs and landing during the two months.
