Mar 18, 2008 (newstodate): Bulgaria's Bourgas Airport is in for a thorough modernisation and construction project.
The Fraport AG unit that operates Bulgaria's coastal airports Varna and Burgas under a concession arrangement has decided to invest in 2008 in a revamped passenger terminal, new check-in and passport control stations, and other passenger-related facilities.
Also comprised by the project is the construction of a further two aircraft parking stands for wide-body cargo or passenger aircraft.
