Mar 25, 2008 (newstodate): Boeing has admitted needs to perform "some adjustments" to its Dreamliner Center wing box, but still maintains early 2009 as start of delivery.
Analysts however expect Boeing soon to announce another delay to the program, entailing first delivery date to be moved back to autumn, 2009, instead.
The first Boeing 787 Dreamliner was originally slated for delivery in May this year, but has so far run into two delay announcements accruing to 15 months.
Its competitor, the Airbus A350 is expected to enter commercial service in mid-2013.
