Mar 19, 2008 (newstodate): The Norwegian air navigation service provider AVINOR has contracted Frequentis to supply the communications equipment for the Area Control Centre Oslo.
The contract comprises delivery of four systems with a total of 115 work stations, to become operational in January 2009.
The contract also includes an option for additional 10 systems to be delivered in the next four years to the ACC Stavanger, the TWR/APP Oslo and the TWR/APP Bergen.
Frequentis has already equipped the ACC Bod� and the TWR/APP Trondheim with its VCS technology.
A framework contractsigned in 2006 sees also the delivery of towers for several airports in Norway.
