Feb 22, 2008 (newstodate): Russia and Georgia have reportedly reached agreement to resume air services between the two states.
Air services have been suspended since October 3, 2006, when the Russian side closed down the traffic due to Georgia's alleged debt from unpaid air navigation charges.
No date for re-opening air services has yet been announced, though.
The agreement was reached immediately prior to the meeting between the presidents of the two republics at the CIS informal summit opening today.
