Feb 4, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier UTAir plans to acquire 18 Boeing 737 aircraft over the next two years.
The first aircraft will be delivered in February, and a total of seven units will be in the fleet before the end of the year, sources say.
The Boeing aircraft will replace the fuel-consuming TU-154 aircraft currently used on medium-range routes.
