Feb 12, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Ural Airlines has received its third Airbus A320 aircraft.
Like the first two units, the A320 is acquired on a lease agreement with Aughras Tradi Ltd, and the aircraft will be introduced on new routes to Paris and Milano, and enable the carrier to increase frequency on existing routes, including flights to Tel Aviv.
The carrier, based at Ekaterinburg, has placed orders with Airbus for delivery of nine A320 aircraft, and will operate leased aircraft till delivery starts by 2012.
By then, the carrier expects to already operate some 10 A320 aircraft on lease contracts.
