Feb 5, 2008 (newstodate): Finnair has announced its decision to acquire one additional Airbus A330 aircraft for its long-haul fleet.
The aircraft is slated for delivery by spring, 2010, and is an expansion of the carrier's planned 12 Airbus aircraft fleet.
Finnair currently operates 10 long-haul aircraft including three Airbus A340 and seven Boeing MD-11.
In 2008 two more A340 will be acquired, and in before 2010 the entire MD-11 fleet will be replaced with new Airbus A330 aircraft.
