Feb 25, 2008 (newstodate): Denmark's export airfreight on IATA carrier increased by 15.8 percent in 2007, to 77,589 tonnes.
Export air cargo to North America remained at the top of the list of regions, with 22,403 tonnes, or 28.9 percent after increasing 15 percent during the year.
As before, Chicago was Denmark's single largest IATA cargo destination in 2007 with a total of 7,182 tonnes, increasing 24.6 percent in 2007.
New York generated 3,218 tonnes of cargo, increasing 26.3 percent, and Washington 2,180 tonnes, up 19 percent.
Atlanta received 1,143 tonnes, down 2.5 percent, and Los Angeles 889 tonnes, increasing three percent.
On the Top-30 list of Denmark's IATA export cargo destinations was also Dallas with 696 tonnes, growing a sound 108 percent in 2007.
