Feb 25, 2008 (newstodate): The Austrian investment group Meinl has decided to become a new shareholder in Bydgoszcz International Airport, Poland, intending to subscribe for up to 49 percent of total shares.
Already in August, 2007, Meinl announced its interest in investing in the airport and take part in its management.
Earlier this year Meinl announced plans for building a new airport at Sochaczew, 40km west of Warsaw, Poland, and in 2007 Meinl also acquired Ulan Ude Mukhino Airport in Russia as well as a share in the Turkish TAV Airports Holding.
