Feb 21, 2008 (newstodate): The Armenian carrier Armavia has acquired a Bombardier CRJ100 aircraft.
The aircraft, received earlier in February, is taken on a lease arrangement, and the airline also plans to acquire CRJ200 aircraft.
The new aircraft is already in service on routes from Yerevan to Aleppo, Belarus, Beirut, Lebanon, Minsk and Tehran.
Armavia's fleet also comprises four Airbus A320 Family aircraft, and one Boeing 737-300 as well as Russian-built aircraft.
