Dec 9, 2008 (newstodate): Russia's total volume of air cargo and mail grew 14 percent to a total of 660,508 tonnes during the first 10 months of 2008, according to the country's Transport Clearing House.
International cargo and mail accrued to 446,456 tonnes, up 23.6 percent, y-o-y.
Cargo and mail between Russia and non-CIS countries was up 23.6 percent to 432,319 tonnes, while loads between Russia and CIS countries grew only 5.4 percent to 14,137 tonnes.
Finally, Russia's domestic cargo loads were down one percent, to a total of 214,052 tonnes
