Dec 16, 2008 (newstodate): From December 25, 2008, the Russian carrier Yamal Airlines plans to include the Czech Republic on its route map.
The carrier will operate a weekly flight between its hub at Tyumen and Prague, Czech Rebpuc, using Boeing 737-500 aircraft on the route.
Yamal Airlines, headed by Kriuk Vasiliy Nikolayevich, was set up in 1997 in Russia's northermost Siberian region with the recently upgraded Salekhard airport as its home base.
