Dec 11, 2008 (newstodate): November 2008 proved to be another month of contraction in air cargo volumes at Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport.
A total of 7,502 tonnes of cargo was handled.
International cargo accounted for 4,155 tonnes, down 26.4 percent, while domestic cargo grew by 4.9 percent, to 3,347 tonnes.
During the first 11 months of this year, total cargo volumes at Oslo Garmoen Airport were 85,030 tonnes, comprising 53,338 tonnes of international cargo, down 7.5 percent, and 31,692 tonnes of domestic cargo, down one percent.
In 2007, the airport handled a total of 97,311 tonnes of cargo and mail.
