Dec 15, 2008 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Ural Airlines, based at Ekaterinburg, has taken delivery of another Airbus A320 aircraft.
Taken on a lease arrangement, the ex-ClickAir Airbus aircraft joins the Ural Airlines fleet that already comprises five Airbus A320 family aircraft.
The airline plans to replace all its 12 TU-154 aircraft with Airbus aircraft, and will be operating ten to twelve Airbus aircraft by the summer of 2009, including one A 321 aircraft.
The airline says it will have up to 20 Airbus A320 aircraft by 2012, three to five Boeing 767 or Airbus A330 long-haul aircraft, and three to five SuperJet 100 and some ATR short-haul aircraft.
