Dec 22, 2008 (newstodate): The Lithuanian carrier Avion Express has added its fourth SAAB 340 aircraft.
In contrast to three SAAB 340 aircraft in freighers versions already in the fleet, the latest SAAB 340 is a passenger aircraft to be introduced on the route between Storuman, in Sweden's Lapland region, and Stockholm Arlanda, taking effect from January 12, 2009.
Formerly named Nordic Solutions, the airline was taken over by the Icelandic Avion Group when the owners of Nordic Solutions that provided in-night logistics went bankrupt in 2008.
