Dec 16, 2008 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has added a new important link to its chain of interline partners, signing an agreement with British Airways for global connections via London.
The new agreement will provide Baltic passengers flying on airBaltic tickets with access to 40 new destinations from London to the United States, Canada, Africa, South America, India, as well as other destinations such as Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda.
airBaltic currently offers daily direct flights from Riga to London, and airBaltic passengers will also have access to links to London via Stockholm, Copenhagen and Vilnius, Lithuania.
The new agreement follows on an agreement with Emirates, signed earlier this month.
