Dec 5, 2008 (newstodate): Iceland's Keflavik Airport is seeing traffic slowing down during the current crisis.
In November, the airport saw passenger volumes down 36 percent, y-o-y, to 92,000, and in October passenger volumes shrank 22 percent to 143,000.
While statistics on cargo volumes in November are still not available, the figure will expectedly also show a decline.
In October the airport handled a total of 4,328 tonnes of cargo, down 22 percent, y-o-y, leading to a drop in this year's first 10 months by 9.6 percent, to a total of 50.820 tonnes.
