Dec 17, 2008 (newstodate): The Czech government is now moving closer to settling the details of the long-awaited tender for acquisition of CSA.
Originally expected to be concluded by mid-2009, the tender process is now slated for completion by year-end, 2009, according to the Czech ministry of finances.
Consultants to manage the process have now been appointed, and the process will have two stages, with the first to focus on strategic plans for the airline and the use of Prague Ruzyne Airport as its hub, while the final stage will focus on financial and price issues.
The Czech government will put 91.5 percent of the stock up for sale.
